Tecknicolor (tec-ni-kuhl-er)
Name:
The name is derived from the the company who was the first to bring color to motion pictures in 1928 (even though we didn’t start to see movies in color consistently until much later). Being a classic movie enthusiast as well as a young artists and sneaker customizer the name just seemed to come naturally.
Concept:
The philosophy of Tecknicolor is to simply see the world around you in all of it’s vibrant colors. Nothing is ever just black and white and to view things in only black and white is not only mentally stifling but it also hinders progression.
Shoes:
Not only am I a classic movie enthusiast, I’m also a lover of sneakers, hence the fact that I customize sneakers. My shoes are a representation of the fact that the world has many different colors, facets, people, and cultures. They are to show the concept of Tecknicolor through sneakers, which is one of my chosen forms of artistic expression.
